Dark Horse

Over an 18-month period, I travelled across Australia filming 38 in-depth interviews for the Erebus Motorsport documentary “Dark Horse.” This project gives the viewers a behind the scenes look with drivers, engineers, crew, and key figures from across the Supercars Championship and Erebus Motorposr. In total, I captured more than 75 hours of raw interview footage, building the foundation of the film’s story.

My role as Director of Photography was to keep consistency, every interview needed to feel cinematic and cohesive, despite being shot in vastly different environments. I built a portable lighting and camera setup that could be packed and rebuilt doing 3-4 interviews each day.
