Supercars - Road To Glory
A behind-the-scenes documentary following the 2026 Supercars Finals
I had the privilege of working as lead cinematographer on Supercars Road To Glory, a long-form documentary created with the Supercars Championship team that followed the Finals Drivers across the final rounds of the 2025 season, conducting interviews and capturing fly-on-the-wall reaction.
Rather than focusing purely on race highlights, the film explores the human side of elite motorsport — the preparation, pressure and personal moments that shape a championship campaign.
For Road To Glory, the Sony FX6 was the natural choice for how I like to work — lightweight, flexible and built for documentary environments that shift quickly.
Paired with a compact lighting package, the FX6 allowed me to build soft, controlled interview environments that felt cinematic but still authentic to the working garage setting.
For long-form documentary storytelling, consistency is everything. The FX6 delivered a reliable, colour-stable image across multiple race rounds, helping the project feel cohesive from start to finish.
Supercars Road To Glory premiered on Amazon Prime Video, marking the first Supercars documentary release on the platform, before expanding across additional national broadcast and digital channels.
